These paddlewheel steamers plied almost all of America's major rivers in the 19th century.
They were cargo ships, passenger ships, gambling casinos, and in the Civil War era, troop
Troop carriers that also participated in landing operations.
Our model represents a typical sternwheeler steamer from this period.

In our opinion, this lasercut model is not suitable for modeling beginners,
because it requires some experience with wooden models and tools.
Required for the assembly are the following tools:
- sharp scalpel
- files and sandpaper
- tweezers
- glue
- Thin thread (twine or sewing thread)
For the assembly we recommend superglue - this may sound a little strange with wooden kits
and of course it works with any kind of wood glue.
However, we have made the experience that superglue does work well with this kind of material.
and especially for filigree parts.
ATTENTION: We would like to point out that lasercut articles are wooden components which are cut by means of a laser beam (heat). As we manufacture our articles on order, it can happen that these components smell a little like burnt wood - this smell usually disappears after a few days.
Many people even find this smell pleasant - however, if you do not like this smell, you should either refrain from buying or place the purchased item outside for a few days to air, if possible.
