Favourite Figures - NEW - 28 August 2026

After more than 20 years, perhaps we should have a chat about this area and make some changes.

The fact is that, in our early years, we enjoyed a great deal of interest in the ‘custom-made figures’ section.

That has declined massively of late!

Why?

Well, the sad reality is, for one thing, that some of our most avid collectors have sadly passed away, and hardly any new ones have come forward to take their place.

On the other hand, the general economic climate and the global situation have not developed particularly positively, meaning that, for most people, spending on our hobby unfortunately has to take a back seat.

These are facts and developments over which a small-batch manufacturer has absolutely no influence – or perhaps just a little!

The fact is that technological development has accelerated so rapidly, particularly in recent years, that it’s hard to keep up.

We have always tried to carefully incorporate modern technologies into our portfolio – laser cutters and 3D printers, to name but two.

However, technology has long since made its way into the field of figurine development and production, and many of today’s suppliers rely entirely on digital design and 3D printing.

But as we know – and are constantly reminded – that many collectors still prefer pewter figurines, we’d like to put your minds at ease straight away.

We will definitely continue to offer pewter figurines!

However, we will be integrating these new possibilities into our range much more extensively than before, as we will soon be working digitally when creating figures.

On the one hand, this has the advantage that we can offer figures in various scales; on the other hand, it also means that those who prefer resin figures will be able to get them.

For our ‘custom figures’ range, this change is a huge advantage, as it will reduce production times and, even more importantly for many, make the figures more affordable!

In future, bespoke figure commissions will be structured as follows:

The creation of a figure (regardless of scale) costs a flat rate of €45

Each variant (different pose) costs €30

In addition, there are a number of ways to reduce these prices, for example if we are permitted to also offer these figures in our shop and/or produce them in other scales.

Of course, for the production of pewter figures, mould and casting costs would also need to be factored in.

We ourselves will not be offering mass production of resin figures, but over the last few months we have established good contacts with qualified companies that can offer very high quality at competitive prices.
